What is Roc-Log?
Roc-Log is an MS Access database for logging model rocket flights. Roc-Log
is 100% free and if you know a thing about MS Access, you can customise it
100% too! I intend to leave the database open so people can change it any way
they like. The download file is populated with a little bit of data just so
you can see the information each report displays, but you can easily delete
this data.
Roc-Log is currently at version 1.0

So far you can:
- Add the rockets in
your fleet
- Add motor info (used
in drop down boxes) such as delay times, propellant type etc.
- Add manufacturers
- Log a flight
- Report on the number
of times the rockets in your fleet have flown, including a total number
of flights for all rockets
- Report on the total
number of motors used (broken down by individual motor eg: G64-7 (15)
C6-5 (32) etc and totals for each impulse)
- Report on the
rockets in your fleet
- Report: on rocket
status (MIA, Active etc) (done)
- Report on clustered
flights
- Report on staged
flights
Roc-Log works fine with and allows for both clustered and staged (and even
staged cluster) rockets with no limit on the number of motors a rocket can
have or the combination of motors used. It doesn't care if it's a LPR or HPR
rocket (but if you have a lot of rockets in your fleet you might want a
Roc-Log for each power level otherwise one of the report graphs might get a
bit messy).
It's very simple to use and I doubt anyone will need instructions, but I
will probably make some documentation for it later on if people are using the
database.
